“Let’s Do It Again” by 11 Acorn Lane is a cheerful Electro Swing offering featuring a gleefully feel-good guitar and two vigorously swinging trombones that enter in the breakdown and push the track back into high-gear.

The song was originally conceived as an instrumental composition. When 11 Acorn Lane realized that the vocals from their tune “Let’s Do It” would perfectly fit over this new instrumental recording they couldn’t resist marrying the two into “Let’s Do It Again”.

11 Acorn Lane’s electro swing remix of their song “Fly” is a fun rework of the swing and jazz elements of the original production into an upbeat, exciting and danceable new track that features as its hook an infectious high-energy scat vocal.

A classy crooner-style vocal soars over the verses supported by bold big band brass. A cheerfully perky sawtooth synth and a boisterously bouncy baritone sax are among the newly recorded elements that help set the stage for this joyously jazzy jam.

Annella’s song “Love Music” is getting an Electro Swing makeover by label mate Intended Immigration. The high-energy danceable remix is having fun with the lively scat vocals and condenses the original chorus lead into a new compelling hook of “I’m so in love”.

The production features additional saxophones and Manouche rhythm guitar alongside the brass from the original and provides the perfect backdrop for Annella’s vocals to shine in the whole range from jazzy playfulness to powerful passion.

11 Acorn Lane’s new release “Ringading” is reviving not only a joyous jazzy sound from decades past but also vivid vintage vocabulary with the title word “ring-a-ding” which means “wildly exciting”.

It features a cocky baritone saxophone, cheeky bongos, a pounding floor tom, tricky timbales, shrewd guitars and cunning cornets. All conceived, concocted and contrived in the covert confines of the subterrestrial vault we call “The Armory” that harbors our euphonius arsenal. Will “Giddy Gorilla” break the bank? Unlikely. With their new song “Fly” 11 Acorn Lane are expressing their hope for the world to open up again and regain the freedom to travel and connect.

“Fly” is influenced by their deep love and passion for both jazz and current electronic styles. A crooner style vocal and some bold big band brass float over a filtered house beat, build into a catchy reggaeton-infused drop and culminate in a trap-inspired after-drop-party.

11 Acorn Lane’s song “Crazy Cat” is an homage to all the Jazz musicians who took their axe and left their hometown for New York City – as they did, coming from England and Switzerland respectively.

While “Crazy Cat” includes many musical nods from Big Band to Esquivel to EDM, two have a special place in the two musicians’ hearts: their humble reverence to the vocalese might of The Manhattan Transfer and their loving little tribute to Supersax and by extension their hero Charlie Parker. Their favorite crazy cat is really a bird.

“Let It All Hang Out (Balkan Flip)” by 11 Acorn Lane is an adventurous, genre-bending EDM record that mixes bold Balkan brass bits with high-energy elements from Electro Swing, Melbourne Bounce and even a Trap-inspired bridge to create one peppy, party piece.
